Inglot Haul

Whilst I was in Montreal I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Inglot store. Inglot isn't readily available where I live and I think there is actually only a couple Inglot locations in all of Canada. While I was there one of the girls working there told me they were working on a better online store for the rest of us Canadians. I think if you want to make an order you can but you have to personally email someone with the items you want to buy and they will be shipped to you. Anyways, while I was there I picked up 4 of the O2M breathable nail enamels which are suppose to be water permeable? (I don't think they are water permeable, there are several videos on YouTube in which you can see that these are not water permeable, if you would like me to do a test feel free to leave comment down below) I also picked up 2 of there eye shadows.

So far I haven't really played much with the nail colors, I would say the all need two coats to be fully opaque except the blue one you could probably get away with just one coat. I do plan on wearing the red one tonight so maybe I will edit this part with an update on how I found the wear and formula to be.

On the other hand, I did get a chance to play with the eye shadows which are from the Freedom System range, and they are definitely worth all the hype you hear on blogs and YouTube. They are highly pigmented as you can see in the swatches down below and they lasted on me all day without hardly any fading. Also, I got to give a shout out to their magnetic packaging, I love it! It is so sleek and compact and you never have to worry about it opening up in your bag or any of the side hinges breaking, definitely two thumbs up! Hopefully, I will be able to get more colors cause their range is beautiful. If you are in the US or Europe and have a location available to you I definitely recommend having a look at their eye shadows if you haven't already!

And now for photos:

Another (tiny) Haul ..this time with mini reviews: Indeed Labs, Vichy, Benefit

I was recently at the drugstore picking up some necessities and instead of getting my usual go to products I thought I would pick up a few new items to try. The first thing I got is the Indeed Labs pepta-bright. Now that my skin is a little less prone to breaking out I wanted to get something that would fade those pesky dark scars that get left behind. I figured if Caroline Hirons decided to give it her stamp of approval it must be somewhat good. Fingers crossed this work and my skin stay blemish free.

The next thing I got is another skin care product and it is the Vichy Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 One Step Cleanser (cleansing milk). Now the only reason I got this was because I needed a new cleanser and it was on sale for I believe $12.99 in comparison to $19.99 and because it is a non-foaming cleanser. I did try this out last night and I hate to say I did not like it. The package claims to remove eye makeup and mine barely budged and I don't wear waterproof eye makeup, and I found none of my other face make up moving either. The cleanser also claims to tone and cleanse the skin. Once I was done cleansing, I touched my face and it was soft but it felt as though there was some sort of film left behind from the cleanser. Afterwards, I grabbed my toner and a cotton round and I found there to be quite  a bit of makeup on the cotton round which of course means using this cleanser will probably just leave me with congested skin. Quite unfortunate especially because I massaged the cleanser in quite a bit, I must admit I had high hopes and was sadly disappointed.

The last thing I got was a make up item, and it is the coveted benefit's They're Real mascara. In the last little while, I have heard and seen so much hype about this mascara all over YouTube and the blogosphere. Now, I've never tried a higher end mascara because honestly I have always loved all the on ones I try at the drugstore. But with all the hype my interests were piqued and I thought I would give it a go. I tried it out for the first time today and honestly I didn't really like it, I found it didn't give me much volume and made my lashes feel crispy and look spidery. However, it did lengthen my lashes quite a bit and I do like the shape of the wand. I heard if you use it a bit more it is suppose to get better so I'm hoping next time I use it I will more impressed. I think I'm going to head back to the drugstore and get my favorites: L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black and Covergirl Lash Blast

Up close of the wand:

Hope you all enjoyed this post, and I have quite a few posts planned for this week so remember to visit again! Thank you all for reading and don't forget to follow on GFC or bloglovin, feel free to leave a comment and I will follow you back as well as if you have any other comments or suggestions. Have a great week everyone.

Haul: Drugstore Makeup

I was at Wal Mart a few week ago, (this post is just super late) and of course I ended up in make up section. The Wal-Mart location I was as at happened to be pretty quiet, so I was able to find quiet a few things I had been wanting to try.

The first thing I got is a Wet & Wild Color Icon palette in 335 Silent Treatment. After hearing all the hype surrounding them on YouTube and other blogs, I thought I would give them a try.And they certainly do live up to all the hype. I wore this palette to work recently, and the colors lasted till I got home with no fading which was around 5 hrs. They certainly are worth it especially considering the price point. The only downside is they can be a bit powdery but nothing crazy. A few high of the high end shadows that I have seen have similar powderiness.

(Why are the eyshadows not in the middle of the photo?)

I also picked up 3 lip sticks while I was there. I saw the Rimmel Kate Moss collection so I picked up two shades 06 & 04. The dark purple one is a little difficult to work with in my opinion , it kind of almost has a greyish undertone and it just isn't flattering on me but it might work for others! The second shade I got is a bright hot pink which  is a beautiful shade, even though its not a dark vampy fall shade I still really like it and I'm sure I will get lots of use from it in the summer. One thing about Rimmel lipsticks I can't stand is the smell. It needs to be changed.

The third one I got is my favorite of the three and I have been wearing it constantly since I got it. It is Revlon's 477 Black Cherry, which I'm sure many of you have heard of. It is a beautiful black red and looks great applied full on or as a stain, and since it comes in a creme formula its easy to blend out. I usually only wear it as a stain because I do not have the guts to go out with it full on.

Left:276 Big City Dazzle Right:274 Matte Me Crazy

The last 2 things I got is 2 NYC nail polishes, they were have a 2/$3 deal so I thought hey, why not? I've wanted a Matte top coat for a while and for this price point it does the job. The second one is a glittery red polish with blue and pink sparkles. Haven't tried it yet but I plan on using it as just a top coat.

Well that is it for my haul! I definitely recommend that everyone goes and checks out 477 Black Cherry by Revlon and grab some Wet & Wild coloricon eyeshadow palletes!
