- I think at the top of this list is going to be getting tickets to the Coldplay concert!

- Anything peppermint, I've been making my own concoction of peppermint flavored lattes and cappuccinos on my Tassimo machine. Which I love and recommend everyone to try. Also the candy cane donut at Tim Hortons is amazingly delicious.

-Plum colored Lips! I love using my Maybelline Plum Flushed lip tint. It is perfect for the winter time and isn't a bright lip but it isnt mute either!

- Holidays to just read, listen to music (Sufjan Stevens) and do absolutely nothing. Is everyone hanging out without me? by Mindy Kaling is the current book I am reading and I have been loving it.

-Finals! Being done with exams is probably one of the best feelings in the world.

Inspiration - Alexander Wang Fall 2011

So recently I was browsing through pictures of Alexander Wang's Fall collection and I came across a few photos which had inspiring pieces. Long flowing sheer and silky fabrics was enough to deter me away from writing my long overdue essay. Can we just admire the shoes for a few minutes here, and maybe the flowy shirts too? and for someone who loves black this collection was just my cup of tea. I am in love.

Haul - H&M Knits and Blazer

I was recently at H&M and decided to see if I could find some pieces for winter. To my luck,I came out with a whole bag of goodies! I got 2 sweaters a blazer and a ring which isn't in the post. Chunky knits are exactly what I reach for in the -20 weather (an increasing) weather. All of this stuff should be in stores now if you are interested.

On a side note, sweaters are a good investment as they can be worn for more than a year, they are trendy and are always in for winter. I hope to see if I can grab a couple more longer ones! If you know of any good places with long knit sweaters comment below!

Birthday! - FOTD

It was recently my Brithday and my friends and I decided to go out for dinner. Here is a couple of pics I took quickly before heading out the door.


First lets pardon the overly dry lips.

Face: Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Santa Fe, Kat Von D tattoo concealer, with a light dusting of Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

Cheeks: Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Nars Orgasm Blush on the apples, and a little bit of Nars madly

Eyes: Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in Whiskey all over lid and underneath lash line, to add more depth I used Maybelline's Chai Latte quad and mixed the dark brown color with the lighter brown color in the quad. Used a shimmery white highlight since the rest of the lid was very matte. For eyelashes I packed on Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara.

Lips: Maybelline Color sensational Lip stain in Plum Flushed ( I think the lip stain causes my lips to look over dry)


Wasn't really able to get a full shot of my outfit but I did manage to get this photo of my top and blazer and it captures the details quiet well. The tank is from Forever 21 ( Probably 2 years old) and the blazer is from Urban and the brand is ONLY.

Florence and the Machine - Ceremonials

One of the albums I've been anticipating the most this year is Florence and the Machine's Ceremonials. The album was finally released on October 31st and I knew I would soon be engulfed with her beautiful haunting lyrics and melodies.

I've been listening to my favorites: Only if for a Night and Shake it out non-stop since the day they were released. And now that I finally have my hands on the complete album its been playing non-stop. It so difficult for me to even chose a favorite because I love them all! Spectrum and Never Let me Go are both being played repeatedly on my itunes.

If you've been on the hunt for some good music check out Florence and the Machine's Ceremonials, guaranteed you will not be disappointed. And as a plus it helps making studying more easier to do.

FOTD - Simple Everyday Look

Was going over to a cousins house and did this look. Its a very simple look that can be worn by anyone and is easy enough for anyone to do.

Face: Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Nars Madly Blush
Eyes: Mark Eye Shadow Minx all over the lid and and Whisper in the inner corner and Revlon Growluscious Mascara (1 1/2 coats!)
Lips: Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in Pink Ice
Eyebrows: Nothing, have naturally dark brows

Inspiration - Sequins

Recently my minds been consumed with pieces with sequins in them and found these images on a street-style blog. A pop of shiny silver or gold would add a chicness to any outfit and would be a great piece to add to your selection of winter clothing especially come the holidays. Zara has a couple of metallic sweater if you want the look but don't want to be wearing full on sequins.

Rings!

If your anything like me the life span of your rings is pretty short cause your always leaving them somewhere or losing them. I try to find cheap rings that won't hurt when lost but the four above are just beautiful. If only I could have just one of these chic beauties.

Neutral Dewy/Glossy Make up

I stumbled upon this picture from Vogue Germany September 2011. I love the gorgeous dewy skin and the neutral lips with the dark brown glossy eyes! The makeup is glossy/dewy yet natural at the same time and it looks absolutely stunning.

I think its time I found some creamy metallic eyeshadow, maybe the new chanel or Armani eyes to kill shadows.

Studs.

I was browsing the internet, going to the usual websites I pull inspiration from and I happen to stumble upon these images with amazing studs. I love the second pictures especially the ring is killer and the nail polish adds an edgy touch.

I really want the cuff and maybe the glove too. And quiet possibly the jackets as well. I shall be on the look out for some similar items.

On my mind - Blue Pants

Before I grab some coffee and hit the books, there has something which has been consuming my thoughts, and that is a pair of bright blue pants.

I think I will have to dedicate my next shopping trip to finding a pair.

Nuff said.

Family Dinner - Make Up: Chanel and Mark.

Last week I had to attend a Family dinner and I thought why not take a few a pics especially considering I haven't posted in a while! So here is how my makeup turned out:

I used Mark eyeshadow in the color Tiki all over the lid , and then for the outer corner I used Jave and Corset, for the inner corner I used whisper and a shimmer white on top (can't remember which one but you can use any).

For My lips I used Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss in #57 Insolence. For my face I used Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe for foundation and for blush I used Nars's Madly and to contour my cheeks I used Hoola by Benefit.

Back! - Plus Alex Winston

It has been so long! Sadly, my laptop burnt out last month, the motherboard fried and my laptop would not turn on at all. Always use a chill mat especially if you use your laptop nearly as much as I do. Luckily, I have a new MacBook Pro which I am super excited about! I simply love it ! My last laptop was an hp but something was wrong with graphics card which would cause it to over heat. With my compulsive use and the graphics card issue it slowly died.

But I'm back! I will be doing more posts from now on, I am in school but I will definitely be posting whenever I chose to take a break form all the studying that I plan on doing!

This song has been on repeat for the last few days. I can not describe the remarkable emotion that it capture without suggesting that you have a listen to it for yourself.

There is always people in our lives in which we form relationships whether they be healthy or not, they are soon gone and there just people you used to know. Having lost, I relate to the feeling "someone I used to know" and its a crazy thought that someone you were so close to is now just a mere stranger. I could elaborate on this topic for hours but I'm gonna keep this short and hope you understand somewhat of what I'm trying to say.

The music video is also great, and I find it fit perfectly with the lyrics of the song!

Mini Vacation: Calgary - OOTD

So about a month ago a few of my friends and I went on a mini road trip to Calgary! We spent a few days just frolicking through the city and eating food basically and shopping. It was a good time had by all and can't wait to go somewhere else to just relax and have fun with friends. I've posted a couple city shots and a Outfit of the Day below!

Product Cravings: Dior & Mac

Tell me? What is better then a late night ramble?

Sadly I have a grueling day of work tomorrow much to my dismay. I am counting down the hours of my shift already even though it hasn't started. There is one thing about this that I can look forward to and that is being able to purchase more goods. Speaking of good there has been a few items on my current wishlist that I have been meaning to pick up:

This first on is Dior tinted moisturizer, now I am a bit fair so I would most likely go for shade number 1. Would be specially wonderful for summer considering foundation can be to heavy for those grueling hot summer day.

Item number 2 would be mac Bare study paint pot and and mac Constructivist paint pot. Now both these items are cult faves so I am sure I will enjoy them, though the fact that they are like a cream eyeshadow is always what has stopped me. Creasing is a big no in my books.

Item 3 would be Satsuma Puree body lotion by the body shop. Now I already have two scents from bath and body works Japanese cherry blossom and twilight woods so this leaves me wanting a fruity scented body lotion. I've been one of those girls who never moisturizer even after showering and I am slowly trying to change this.

Now that pretty much sums up the items that I really want at the moment so look out for a post for when I actually make the purchases ;-)

Also I will be putting up a Jewellery focused post up soon, just got to charge the camera and take the pictures.
