Tiny Beauty Haul: Chanel and Clarins

Hey Guys!
I recently picked up a few products so  thought I would share what I got:

Ever since I saw the photo for the Chanel fall campaign I knew I had to go see it in person. I was initially drawn to the lip color the model was wearing in the photo. But when I went to my Chanel counter and saw the lipstick, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I definitely wanted something darker. I ended up going on Temptalia and I found a dupe that was similar to what the model was wearing and that is 114 Blackberry by Clarins, the perfect rosy brown for fall.  I am pretty much in love with this color, it can be applied sheerly or you can build it up. It is also a really moisturizing formula and I would say it last about the same time as a regular lipstick.  I also purchased the much hyped about Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 01 and it all I can say is everyone needs one of these in their life. It is a lip gloss-lip balm that is super moisturizing and you can apply it through out the day with out having to think about. It looks amazing on your lips as well and smells like roasted marshmallows. I definitely think it does live up to all the hype surrounding it.

Now about the blush...even though I didn't end up getting the lipstick from Chanel, I did however end up picking up the blush in Rose Initiale. In the pan it looks like a regular pink blush and that is exactly what I though it was until I swatched it. When swatched it is a beautiful pink that I think will look beautiful during fall. It was really hard for me to get a picture of this but I tried. I haven't used it yet but I can give you guys an update if you're wondering about how it wears. It is part of the fall campaign but I think it might be permanent.

And now for the photos:

26.00 CAD found at The Bay or Sears
19.00 CAD found at The Bay or Sears

48.00 CAD found at The Bay or Holt Renfrew

Not the best swatch, click here to see Temptalia's post
Anyways, that is all for now! Hope everyone has a good week up ahead.

NOTD: Revlon 330 Naughty

Hey everyone!

Looks like I'm back with another nail polish post this week!
Say whaaa?
Yes, I'm pretty surprised myself! The color I am exhibiting is once again a Revlon nail polish and it is 330 Naughty. I think the best way to describe this nail polish is a dirty murky purple. In the bottle it looks like a brown with purple shimmer but once applied to the nails it just looks like a greyish brown muted purple.

I think its a great transition color from summer to fall because its not as dark as a black nail polish, dark red or the plum night from my last nail polish post.

Though I don't own Chanel's Paradoxal I think this could possible be a cheaper alternative. From the pictures I've seen I think its a pretty close dupe for those of us who don't have piles of cash. Besides, who doesn't like those murky dirty looking polishes for fall!

Anyways, let me know what you guy think the comments below!
Hope everyone has a good week!

Fall Haul: Zara, H&M, ONLY and Vera Moda

Hello lovelies!

I have done a bit of shopping for fall. Not all of this was purchased at the same time but over the course a couple months. I hope you can take some inspiration from the items I purchased and hopefully I'll be able to do some outfit of the days with these items in the near future.

I really am trying to starting to blog regularly!

This will be a picture heavy post:

I went into Zara and I saw this jacket, and it was love at first sight. Then I saw the price tag and everything changed. I just could not justify buying it for $120 CAD and fortunately I was with my sister who was there to stop me.

But I couldn't stop thinking about it, and I've always told myself about clothing I am unsure about buying that if I keep thinking about it I should just go back and get. So I used my Eid money and went for. The jacket is from Zara Woman and you can check it out or buy it depending on where you live by clicking here.

Zara Woman $119.00 CAD

Zara TRF 89.99 CAD
After seeing the Biebs with a similar jacket except his with jean and leather, I knew I need to have one. I did a similar thing with this jacket as the above one, I initially wanted the longer version but sadly it got sold in the spring! So I decided I wasn't going to miss the chance of grabbing it this time!

I got it from the TRF section at Zara in July so I'm not sure of the availability of it in stores, but you can check it out by clicking here.

ONLY 55.00 CAD
I wasn't sure if I wanted to include a hoodie in this post. But I figured its getting really cold so why not? I love the hi-low cut of the hoodie, it helps differentiate it from the usual hoodies we see. The pockets are also pretty big so you can fit a lot in them. I got this from a local store that had a 20% off sale because they were moving locations. You can check out the hoodie or purchase it if you live in Europe by clicking here.

Vera Moda Joshua Blazer from The Bay 75.00 CAD (got 15%off)
Backside

I've been looking for this cut in a blazer for a while. I was at the bay and they had a sale going on I tried it on and it fit like a glove. Needless to say I was sold. I love the stitching in the back and the way its cut. I don't mind spending a little bit of money on blazers cause they will last you forever.
You can check it out by clicking here or just type in Joshua Blazer by Vera Moda into google to find it on a website from your country.
H&M 29.95 CAD
Last but not least we have this sweater I picked up from H&M. I don't have the color above and I thought it would look great with some leather pants. Once again, I love the Hi-Low cut of it and sweaters are a staple for me in winter and fall. There is nothing like putting on a cozy sweater on a cold morning especially when going to school. I got this earlier last week so hopefully you can find it at your local h&m store, I tried looking on the web site but it doesn't seem to be up on there.

Anyways, this was a super long post. Hopefully I didn't bore you all too much and you found some of the pieces a little interesting.

Hope your all well and have a wonderful week especially if you are back to school!

NOTD: Revlon 799 Plum Night

Ola Amigos!

Fall is pretty much here and even though I hate the excruciating cold temperatures, I do love fall fashion and makeup. This means dark nails of course. A shade that I have begun to reach for lately is Revlon's Plum Night, I like it cause it basically black but is less harsh then having actual black nails and the tinge of purple adds a little bit of dimension.

The formula is a little thin and needs about 2-3 coats to get opaque coverage but other than that its a great shade for fall!

Pictured:

Purple can be seen easier in this picture
In the photo above the purple shows through a bit more
Anyways, hope you're all well!

Eid Makeup: Lancome, Maybelline, Dior, Urban Decay,Nars,Etc

Hello Everyone!

And yes, its been over a month! I think I will be posting regularly now, but then it feels like I'm always saying that.

Anyways, I got a couple of good picture of my Eid makeup and now I do remember most of the products but not all #fail. However, you can find similar colors probably in you own makeup collection especially since  none of the products I used are really standout-ish.  Most of what you see can easily imitated by other products and I think that is why I can't remember.

Here are the pictures:

So here we have the first photo which was taken outside:
On the Eyes:  Avon ultra luxury eyeliner in Dark Brown used a a base all over the lid, followed by the darkest brown in the Maybelline eyeshadow quad in Chai Latte in conjunction with the second darkest shade in the quad. I used the lightest shade in the quad as my high light as well as a bit of Virgin from the Naked Pallette.

The blue liner at the bottom was done with two eye liners, I used Annabelle Smudge Liner in Atomic Surf (Bluish -Sea Greeen) in the inner half of my bottom lash line and on the other half I used Urban Decays 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil in Electric. To finish up the eyes I used my Loreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black and I also used a bit of Maybelline's Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner in blackest black.

Face:For foundation I used Lancome Tient Idole Ultra 24H in 230W, Kat Von D tattoo concealer in medium to conceal and under my eyes I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser concealer.  For contouring I used Hoola by Benefit followed by Madly and Orgasm both by Nars. For my highlight I used my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beach

Lips: This is the part that I forget! This picture was taken inside and my lips look different in both of the pictures. I'm pretty sure I used my Dior Addict High Shine lipstick in 594 a similar color to this is the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart. For the added shine I believe I used the Clarins instant light natural lip perfecter in 01.

Anyways, that is my makeup used in the photos and apologise about forgetting what is on my lips if I remember I will edit the post!

Hope your all doing well and TGIF in a couple hours!
Have a good weekend!

Cuff Jewellery: H&M, ALDO, ASOS

Hey Everyone! Cuff Jewellery has been really in for the last little while. So I thought I would do a quick little post on some of the cuff jewellery I have been sporting. All of the pieces are very inexpensive and reasonably easy to obtain. Some of the pieces may even be on sale now as they were purchases from earlier.

I love cuff jewellery as it easily dresses up a casual outfit. A simple white tea and some black jeans with any of the necklaces easily helps to make your outfit cute with a chic edge. I tend to find that a lot cuff jewellery can easily be made into statement pieces as well so I think there good to have. And for the price, why not?

So here is what I've been loving/wearing:

6.95 CDN from H&M

So firstly, we have the bracelet cuff, I purchased the gold one first and then later on I saw the silver ones and decided to get two so I could wear one on each arm. I find the chains that hang make them a little more girly and feminine and just make them a little different compared to the normal cuff type of bracelet you see. However, one downside is that on one of the bracelets the chains fell out but I got my mom to put them back in so it was an easy fix. All three were 6.95 from H&M

All from H&M, top two 7.95 CDN,bottom one 12.95 CDN

I obviously couldn't chose just one color and had to have all three.. #fail. I got the rose gold first and it is a bit thinner than the other two which i like. The other two are a little thicker but I think they're still okay. All three were from H&M, the top two I think were 7.95 and the bottom one was missing the packaging so I am not sure of the exact price but I paid 12.95

~$14 CDN from ASOS

Clearly I've been watching way to much Made in Chelsey, it definitely is a guilty pleasure as is most reality television.  These are inspired by Rosie Fortescue, I can't help but be in love with her style. I once again couldn't decide which color and got two. They are from ASOS and I paid ~$14, they can be purchased from the website.

Aldo $39

These are probably one the things I am most proud of this season! I got these from Aldo and they were on sale for $39. I love the cuff on top and the tiny heel at the bottom. They are different than anything I have seen in the last little while and on par with the cuff trend. The rest of the sandal looks really nice as well when worn.

Anyways, hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
