In & Out

Welcome to yet another edition of In & Out

IN:

Mac MSF in blonde. I have been wearing this puppy like no tomorrow. I love the sheen and how it doesn't have chunks of glitter like many other MSFs. I have also been loving my Kat Von D tattoo concealer, as my skin has seen better days.

On the topic of skin, I have really noticed a decrease in hyper-pigmentation through the use of Ole Henrikson's enlighten me skin tone corrector. If you have problems with hyper-pigmentation I totally recommend this product as it contains all natural ingredients is really gentle. I also picked up cliniques moisture surge moisturizer through a promotion Sephora had going on, and I must say I really like it for a night time moisturizer over top of the serum.

The next two things would be a TV show called the Walking Dead. I definitely recommend checking it out if your bored one of these days.

Finally, Tassimo's Nabob french vanilla flavored coffee blend.

OUT:

The February shopping ban I had going for myself during February. However, I am still going to try and save as many pennies as I can.

Gossip Girl, as much as I love all the outfits and will most likely keep watching due to this - was any one just a little bit disturbed by the ending of the last episode?

What a lovely dress:

Love the color!

Until next time,
Hope your all well.

OOTD - 200212

I went to dinner tonight and thought I would do a quick outfit of the day or I guess of the night. Anyways I didn't have the best lighting so I tried my best with the pictures. The color of the shirt is more true to the first picture its more of a rusty burnt red - orange color rather then a bright red. Anyways, I hope you guys like the outfit!

What I am wearing:
My pants are from Zara Denim I believe they were 59.99 and are not sold anymore, but oyu can find similar ones on there website!
Shirt from Dynamite 29.99
Jacket from Urban Outfitters (old) 69.99
Hat from H&M 7.00
Ring is from forever 21
For shoes I wasn't able to get a shot but I wore these ankle boots from forever 21, but there is an image down below.

Image from forever21
My make up is hardly noticeable but on my face I am wearing MUFE HD foundation in #127, Hoola Bronzer and mac's blond msf. For eyes I am wearing the trusty naked palette I used virgin in the inner corner and naked all over the lid with buck in the inner corner. Loaded my eyes with maybelline falsies mascara and lip tint in plum flushed.

So that is a pretty quick overview of my makeup. If you have any questions on the products or any of the pieces I wore please leave a comment down below and I will get back to you.

Thanks for reading.

Valentines/Everyday Glowing Look

Hey Guys,

I thought I would post a Valentines Day look for those of you doing something, but keep it simple and everyday for those of you who will not be doing anything. It definitely is more towards the pink side and I also used the Naked Palette by Urban Decay for my eyes and I'm sure most of you have it on your collection.

For my Face I used Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe and then dusted on Maybelline DreamMatte powder in Light.
I then contoured with Hoola by Benefit and then used my MSF in Blonde (mac) as a blush and I must say I love the highlighting glowy affect!

For lips I used a light hand of Revlon Matte Lipstick in 002 Pink Pout and then applied a tiny amount of Gosh Light' N Shine in 04.

Now for the eyes, as I mentioned above I used the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. I used the color Virgin in the inner corner and as a highlight. I then proceeded to use Sin on the first half of my lid and then toasted on the second half. I then used a tiny amount of Hustle in my crease.. but it barely shows up in this picture. For a more dramatic look I suggest applying a lot more Hustle! I then used Maybelline Falsies Mascara and my Physicians Formula Organic Eyeliner in Olive Black.

And there you have it! I hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday!

Recent Beauty Purchases!

Hey everyone!

Over the past three weeks I have done a bit of shopping and I have gotten quiet a few beauty products. A lot of these are limited edition but you can usually find them on Ebay. I actually haven't bought much make up for a while and thought it was time.

To start off I got three products from mac. The first and probably one of my favorites! It is the flamingo lipstick from the Iris Apfel collection. Flamingo is a light milky coral pink color and is perfect for those days when you don't want too much color but you also don't want nude lips. It is a lustre finish so it has a bit of a sheen as well.

The next few products I got are all face products. The first is from the mac Naturally collection and is a mineralized blush in fresh honey. In my opinion it could be worn as either a blush or bronzer especially if you have lighter skin. Its extremely pigmented and you literally only need to dab you brush in the product. It is a warm peachy brown color and is different then anything I own.

The next product is also form the mac Naturally collection and it is the mineralized skin finish in Blonde. This product is a repromote form the mac brunette, blonde and redhead collection from a couple years ago. I went to two different mac stores to get this msf and when I finally found it, it was the last one left! Its a really pretty soft shimmery pink and can be used as either a highlighter or blush.

I've been wanting a bright pink blush for quiet some time and have also had my eye on Peony by Bobbi Brown for a while. So I figured it was time to take the plunge. So far I love the color, it isn't to pigmented which is perfect considering how bright the color is. At the same time its pretty build-able and contains no shimmer, so you can get bright cheeks or just go with a sheer wash of color.

Swatches of all three:

From the left: Fresh Honey, Blonde, Peony

The next product was a just a repurchase of my trusty foundation which is Nars Sheer glow in Santa fe, I have been using this foundation for about two years now and still love it. Its not to matte or to dewy which is what I prefer.

The last thing I got is an Essie nail polish called Set in Stones and it is just a chunky glitter top coat! I really excited to use it and try and get the "I have liquid metal on my finger nails" look.

That is all for this post! If you have any question or need to know more about the products leave a comment below!

Happy New Years & FOTD

Hello everyone!

I wanted to start of this post by first of all saying Happy New Year! 2011 has been quiet the year for me, filled with both good and bad times. I wish the best of luck for everyone in 2012 and hope its a year of growth and exciting new experiences for everyone.

Now with all that sappy stuff out of the way..

I really hope to and am trying to be able to blog more, the sun going down so early, which is not helping the cause. OH and I finally got some bright blue pants. I went to Old Navy with mother on a whim and they had a pair for 11.99! I thought it was meant to be!

Anyways, enough of my rambling! Here is a FOTD for a new years eve dinner!

Face: Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe, Benefit Hoola, Nars blush in Madly and Orgasm

Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Pallet with Buck and Naked all over the lid, Virgin in the inner corner and Darkhorse in the crease and as eyeliner. Maybelline Falsies mascara

Lips: Revlon matte lip stick in Nude Attitude 001 and Revlon super lustrous gloss in Peach Petal on top.

Have a great weekend everyone!

-Plum colored Lips! I love using my Maybelline Plum Flushed lip tint. It is perfect for the winter time and isn't a bright lip but it isnt mute either!

- Holidays to just read, listen to music (Sufjan Stevens) and do absolutely nothing. Is everyone hanging out without me? by Mindy Kaling is the current book I am reading and I have been loving it.

Out:

-Finals! Being done with exams is probably one of the best feelings in the world.
